The club endeavours to provide as many opportunities as possible to play cricket and enjoy the game.
Some relish the extra chance to develop their skills at a more competitive level, others simply like to play for the love of it.  If you wish to participate in tournaments please tell your coach.

Under 13
The combined U13 Zone Team (Johnsonville/Onslow - Wellington North WN) had the following fixtures: November 22nd, 29th and December 6th, 13th, 20th of 2009.
The following Johnsonville players gained selection in the team:

Under 12
The Under 12 (Johnsonville/Onslow WN) Combined Zone Team Tournament  was played 18-21 January 2010.

Under 11
The Under 11 (Johnsonville) Club Team Tournament is from 18-21 January. Johnathan Millmow coached the team and although the team probably got a tough draw the side performed creditably with several outstanding individual performances.

Stew Cater Memorial Trophy 2010:
As hosts for the first time - Johnsonville will schedule this tournament for February/March 2010.
This tournament was inaugurated in 2007 and is contested between Johnsonville, Onslow Tawa and Karori.

History:
2007: Onslow
2008: Onslow
2009: Johnsonville

It is hoped the final will be played upon the pestine turf wicket at the home of the mighty Blues -  Alex Moore Park.

Cricket Wellington Yr9/10 Tournament
The Cricket Wellington Yr9/10 Twenty/20 Tournament is being held 22-23 January. Past Johnsonville junior players are eligible to represent the club.
Coaching from Barry Rhodes is available leading up to the tournament.

Frimley Park in Hastings - a combination of fine grass wickets, good weather and a carnival  atmosphere makes for a real experience at Hawkes Bay Tournaments
Gladestone Oval playing Balmain Tigers our opening fixture of the  player development trip to Sydney in 2007.  Our players were exposed to fiercely competitive opposition and different playing conditions.
Johnsonville won 1 game of 4 but the exercise was well worth while as each player returned better for the experience.
